Halfway House is a cottage that dates back to the 17th century or earlier. Originally known as No 141 E on the Leconfield Estate, it features exposed timber framing in the east wall with plaster infilling. The ground floor is refronted with painted brick, while the upper floor is tile-hung. The cottage has a hipped tiled roof and is two storeys high, with three casement windows.
