Description

30 The Hornet is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall and features one window. Constructed from red brick, it has a tiled roof that is hipped at the east end. The building is adorned with a small cornice that has modillions below the eaves. The sash windows are set in reveals and have flat arches, with painted voussoirs and intact glazing bars. Access to the building is via a round-headed doorway that is reached by five steps, accompanied by an iron handrail. The doorway is topped by a semi-circular fanlight with tracery and includes a six-panel moulded door set in reveals.
