Description

98 The Hornet is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys high and features five windows. The exterior is constructed with grey headers and red brick dressings, complemented by a red brick stringcourse above the ground floor. A small cornice with modillions is located below the eaves, and the building has a tiled gabled roof. The sash windows are set in reveals with segmental arches and retain their thick glazing bars. Access to the building is via a doorway that is reached by four steps, topped with a flat hood supported by consoles. The entrance features a six-panel moulded door.
