Description

Elmstead House is an 18th-century building located in West Wittering on Elms Lane. It is two storeys high and features five windows. The exterior is faced with Roman cement and has a tiled roof. The windows are fitted with Venetian shutters and retain their glazing bars. The entrance includes a doorway adorned with pilasters, a pediment, and a door made of six fielded panels. Notably, Sir Henry Royce, co-founder of Rolls-Royce, lived in this house from 1917 to 1933.
