Description

The former stables of Shillinglee Park, now in residential use, were built in the mid-19th century. The building is situated to the north west of the main mansion house. It is two storeys high and has four windows facing south and six windows facing west. The exterior is red brick with alternating grey brick headers, incorporating a stringcourse. The roof is tiled, with three gables facing west, and the original glazing bars remain intact. A turret with a clock face is topped by an ogee-shaped cupola containing a bell.
