Description

Nos 8 and 9 Westerton are two buildings of a type locally known as "Dukery type," dating from the mid-19th century and associated with the Goodwood Estate. They are a half-H plan design, two storeys in height, and feature four windows each. The construction is of coursed flints with dressings, quoins, a stringcourse, and dripstones above the windows, incorporating red brick and grey headers. The roofs are tiled, and the buildings have casement windows. Projecting outer window bays are topped with gables.
