Description

Nos 61 and 63, known as South and North Hangelton, is a building that was originally a farmhouse. It dates from the 17th century or earlier and features a timber-framed structure that was refaced in 1714 with knapped flints, complemented by red brick dressings, quoins, and a stringcourse. The building has sprocket eaves and a hipped tiled roof. No 61 has casement windows, while No 63 has sash windows with glazing bars. A date-stone indicates the year of 1714. The building stands two storeys high and has five windows.
