Description

Thatched Cottage is a probably early 18th century building located on Fish Lane in Aldwick. It is a single storey with an attic, constructed of rubble and flint, and features a thatched roof that is hipped at the free-standing left end and gabled at the right where it adjoins the next cottage. There is a chimney located in the gable. The cottage has two casement windows and two dormers, along with a central four-panel door. A later extension has been added to the rear. Thatched Cottage, along with Glengarry, Rose Cottage, and Richmond House, forms a group of buildings.
