Description
Sea Lane House is a two-storey L-shaped house built in 1939, designed by architects F R S Yorke and Marcel Breuer. The short wing is made entirely of rendered brick, while the long wing to the south features an open ground floor supported by reinforced concrete columns and a slab, with a rendered brick first floor above. The house has a parapet on its boarded roof. The ground floor includes service accommodation and a garage. Notable features include curved, cantilevered stairs and a balcony that provides access to the living accommodation on the first floor. The house also has additional frontage to Sea Lane.
