Description
The bathing pavilion adjacent to the lake on the Wintershall Estate is a second half of the 19th century structure built from rubblestone. It features thick walls and a circular shape, with an arched entrance and a circular vent at the apex. Inside, the floor is tiled, and the walls are adorned with patterned coloured and encaustic tiles. The dome has coloured tile ribs and medallions decorated with heads. A low tiled bench encircles the interior of the pavilion. It is likely that this building served as a changing room due to its proximity to the lake. At one time, statues were placed around the pavilion, but it is now overgrown and in a state of disrepair.
