Description

The Dodd Tomb, located 8 yards southeast of the chancel in Burstow, is a chest tomb dedicated to John Dodd, who died in 1769. It is constructed from stone and sits on a moulded plinth with panelled sides. The tomb features recessed piers at the corners, which are topped with moulded capitals, and has a flat lid with a moulded edge.
