Description
Keepers Cottage is a house dating from around 1700, with an early 20th-century extension on the left side. The structure features a timber frame of thin scantling set on a rendered plinth to the right, with whitewashed brick infill below and tile hanging above. It has a plain tiled half-hipped roof. The left side has whitewashed brick on a rendered plinth, topped with a slate roof. There are three stacks: an end ridge stack to the left, a ridge stack to the left of center, and a stack at the rear right. The cottage is one storey with an attic, featuring two casement lucarne windows. The right side has two framed bays with two ground floor casement windows, while the left side has one glazing bar sash window on each floor. A planked door is located to the left of center, sheltered by a gabled porch hood supported by wooden posts. At the rear, there is a wing that is at right angles, with a catslide roof to the rear right.
