Description
The George Inn is a building dating from the 16th century, with alterations made in the 18th century and later. It is two storeys high and features three gables facing the road, along with one gable end. The inn has two notable chimneys, one of which is centrally located, and is topped with a tiled roof. On the first floor, there are three windows that are three-light near-flush casements, which have modern leading. The ground floor has been significantly altered, featuring modern entrances and a continuous lean-to roofed shelter. Internally, there are some 16th-century scratched moulded panelling with a dentil cornice.
