Description

York House and York Place is a group of two houses, originally three, dating from the early 18th century. They are under a single hipped tiled roof and are two storeys high. York House features two gables and has four chimneys, while there are six sash windows, some of which still have their bars. There are two modern doors, and a simple late 18th-century doorcase remains at York Place. The front of the buildings is roughcast, stucco, and colorwashed, with a modern projecting entrance at York House.
