Description
This chest tomb, located 25 metres southwest of the Church of St. John, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is made of stone with a darker stone lid and tapers towards the base, featuring projecting north and south sides. The top of the tomb is adorned with foliate carving and a winged cherub's head. The angles are supported by panelled piers, and there are cartouches on the east and west ends, with the one on the east being more elaborate. The tomb is surrounded by an iron railing, which has urn finials at the angles and the centre of the north and south sides.
