Description

The Coster monument is a headstone located approximately 3 metres west of the north-west corner of the Church of St Mary. It dates from the early 18th century and commemorates William Coster, who died in 1716. The monument is made of limestone and features a scrolled top. The face of the headstone is carved with cherubs, and the inscription is presented in seriffed lettering.
