Description
The Spotted Dog Public House is a possibly timber-framed building dating from the 18th century. It has two storeys and an attic, with a stuccoed exterior and a tiled roof. The building features three windows, including a hipped dormer in the central part of the roof and window bays at either end, each with a half-hipped gable above the attic window. There are decorative bands above the first and ground floors at the southern end. Each end bay has a three-light casement window, while the centre of the first storey has a two-light casement window with the main roof projecting over it. On the ground floor, there are two three-sided canted oriel bays at either end, both with glazing bars. The central doorway is topped with a four-centred arch and has brick dressings.
