Description

This is an early to mid-19th century terrace of six houses, numbered 2 to 7, located on Guildford Road in Westcott.

Number 2 is a two-storey building with two window bays arranged over two facets; the eastern bay is canted southwards around the corner. It is stuccoed, with a slate roof and overhanging eaves, and features bands between the floors. The windows are sash windows, and a canted oriel bay is present on the first floor. A doorway on the corner features a stuccoed, shouldered architrave, with similar features to the windows on the eastern side. A modern shop front is present.

Numbers 3 and 4 are also stuccoed, and are three storeys high with a parapet. They have four sash windows on the second floor, and two square three-sided bays on the first floor with sash windows; a fascia board above the shop front echoes the shape of these bays. There is a shop front below.

Numbers 5 and 6 are two storeys high and stuccoed, with a parapet featuring pediment-shaped top sections and recessed panels of similar shape below. Number 5 has a three-sided canted bay with four sash windows, while Number 6 has two modern sash windows flanking a central rectangular recess. Modern shop fronts are located below.

A sash window on the western side of Number 7 incorporates an iron balconette.
