Description
Pratsham is a cottage that dates from the late 16th century and was extended in the 17th century. It has a timber frame and is clad in brown brick at the front, with sandstone rubble on the ground floor to the right and 19th-century tile hanging above. The roof is plain tiled, hipped, and steps up over the extension to the left. The building is two storeys high with an end stack to the right and a ridge stack near the centre right. There is a plat band above the ground floor and brick dentilled eaves.
On the left side, there is one diamond-pane leaded casement window on each floor, while the right side features irregular diamond-pane casement windows, including two dormers through the eaves and two ground floor windows below. A stable-style door is located to the left of centre, set under a flat hood supported by brackets and flanked by lights. There is a 20th-century extension at the rear. The building has arch bracing at the centre, and the frame is exposed on the left side.
