Description

Barraca is a house dating from the early 18th century, featuring a freestone front set on a slight plinth. It has a Cotswold stone roof with gabled end chimneys and stands two storeys tall. The façade has a 1:2 window arrangement, with cock-bead detailing and keys, and includes 20th-century leaded timber cross mullion windows. To the left of the centre, there is a six-panel door that is raised and fielded, also with cock-bead, a key, and a triangular bracketed open pediment. There is a later one-bay, one-storey extension to the right, which is now connected to the Bay Tree Hotel by a rubble wall that has a doorway.
