Description

The cross base and steps, located approximately 15 meters north of The Plough Inn, date from the 14th or 15th century. It is made of limestone and features a square base with ogee-chamfered corners and a square socket that still contains the bottom of the shaft. The base is set on three square steps, with the bottom step having a slight moulded overhang.
