Description
Thatch Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof. The building has a three-unit plan and consists of one storey with an attic. There is an integral stone end stack on the right and a stone ridge stack that is off-centre to the left. The front of the cottage has three windows, which are three-light wooden casements with wooden lintels. Additionally, there are three eyebrow semi-dormers.
On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century five-light wooden casement window to the left and a 20th-century glazed door with a wooden lintel situated between the first and second windows from the right. To the left, there is a 20th-century addition or rebuilding that includes gabled eaves dormers and 20th-century garage doors. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included in the register for its group value.
