Description

The tomb of Philip and Mary Clack is located about 6 meters south of the chancel of the Church of Holy Rood. This grade II listed bale tomb commemorates Philip Clacke, who died in 1691, and Mary Clack, who died in 1724. It is made of stone and features arcaded panels, with three on the sides and one on each end. A cherub is carved at the east end of the tomb. The west end displays the initials J C, while the east end has the initials P.C.
