Description

Dunrobin is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the mid to late 17th century, with a 20th-century addition. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a 20th-century machine tile roof. The building originally comprised two units, with a later addition to the left. It is two storeys high, with a one-storey addition to the left. External stone stacks are present to the left, with a brick top, and to the right, which is integrated into the stone. The front has two windows, featuring 2-light wooden casements with wooden lintels. A central boarded door has a wooden lintel and a 20th-century gabled porch. A chamfered mullioned stone ground-floor window is visible at the rear. The interior was partially inspected, revealing chamfered spine beams and an open fireplace in the left-hand ground-floor room, with an unchamfered wooden lintel. Internal shutters are present on the ground-floor mullioned rear window.
