Description
The chest tomb to Ann Yarnton, dated 1844, and William Breakspear, dated 1841, is located in the churchyard of St. Mary's, approximately 22 meters south of the south transept. It is made of limestone ashlar and features a short, high design with a moulded base and a cornice lid. The corners of the tomb are recessed and adorned with square pilasters that have drapery drops. There are moulded inscription panels that are oval at each end. The tomb is raised on a rectangular rubble stone base, which includes stone coping and sockets for former railings. It occupies a prominent position near the south gate of the churchyard.
