Description

Cobwebs is a cottage that underwent remodelling in the 20th century but retains fabric from the 17th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a Cotswold stone roof. There is a brick chimney on the left and a 20th-century ashlar chimney to the left of centre, which may indicate a lobby-entry plan. The building has two storeys and includes mullion windows with a rebated chamfer type, featuring drips on the ground floor, arranged in groups of three and four lights. Above the central 20th-century Tudor-arched doorway, which has a 20th-century oak door, is a single-light window. The wide 20th-century yard entry is supported by Caernarvon-arch corbels and has wide doors.
