Description

The balustraded terrace, located approximately 1 meter west of the northwest corner of Sarsden House, is likely from the early 19th century and may have been designed by G.S. Repton, who was involved with Sarsden House. It is constructed of limestone ashlar and features short turned balusters with a moulded plinth and coping, which are interrupted by rectangular piers. The terrace encloses an area of about 50 by 20 meters in front of the west side of Sarsden House. This structure is included for its group value.
