Description

This chest tomb, dating from 1716, is located approximately 8 meters south-southeast of the south transept of the Church of St. Mary in Witney. It is made of limestone and features pilaster panels that are etched with carved scrolls. The tomb has a revealed inscription panel flanked by these panels and is topped with a moulded cornice.
