Description

The Hollies and attached stable is a house likely built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick featuring flared headers in Flemish bond and has an old plain-tile roof with brick end stacks. The house is two stories high and has a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a fanlight above, flanked by Doric pilasters that support an open pediment. The windows are 16-pane unhorned sashes with flat brick arches, except for a 12-pane unhorned sash with a flat brick arch located in the center of the first floor. The interior has not been inspected. To the right of the house is a late 18th-century stable, also made of brick with an old plain-tile roof. This stable is a single-storey, two-bay structure with plank carriage doors on the left.
