Description

This is the northern part of Maud Hales Bridge, which dates back to the 15th century. The structure is made of rubble and ashlar. It underwent alterations in 1790 and 1830, and the southern part was largely rebuilt in 1928. Abingdon Bridge, along with The Nags Head public house and Salter's Cafe, forms a group of notable buildings.
