Description
The Goose House, located approximately 5 meters north of Spencer's Farmhouse, is a mid-19th century structure that serves as a goose house with a granary above. It is built of Flemish bond brick and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and includes a segmental arch over the entrance to the goose house, with a plank loft door situated above. To the right of the door, there are semi-circular arches over two shuttered openings designed for geese. The top of the right wall features a segmental arch above a two-light leaded casement window, while the left wall has segmental arches over planked doors on both the ground floor and loft. The roof is gabled. Inside, the goose house is located to the right, with a store room to the left. The granary above has a two-bay collar-truss and side strut roof with clasped purlins. This building is included for its group value.
