Description

Nos. 49 to 53 Stert Street is a building that is partly timber framed and likely dates back to the 18th century. It has three storeys and attics, topped with a tile mansard roof featuring three gabled dormers with casement windows. The exterior is roughly rendered, with a rendered parapet and a cornice band. There are four windows set within rendered architraves, and these do not have glazing bars. The ground floor has modern shop fronts, and the side of the building is tile hung. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 25 to 55 Stert Street.
