Description
This building, located at 47A Stert Street, is probably from the 18th century. It has a rendered exterior and a tile roof, standing three storeys tall. The facade features three windows with flush frames and double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. On the first floor, there are four windows with moulded flush frames, a frieze, and a cornice, although the left-hand window is damaged. The shop fronts for Nos. 41, 43, 47, and 47A are from the 19th century and have narrow pilasters, while No. 45 features a late 19th-century shop front with panelled stall risers and modern glass. All shop fronts include fascia boards. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 25 to 55 on Stert Street.
