Description
No. 2 Broad Street is a late 18th-century building that is part of a larger structure with Nos. 4 and 6. It features a brick front, likely built over an earlier core, and is associated with the Beehive Public House located at No. 46 Stert Street. The building has a tile roof and stands two storeys high with attics. It includes one gabled dormer with a casement window that has glazing bars. On the upper floor, there is a segmental arched window that is a flush framed double hung sash, also with glazing bars. A broken brick band runs between the storeys, and there is a dentil eaves cornice. The ground floor features a segmental arched window with a Beehive sign in frosted glass and a segmental arched door with four panels, two of which are glass. Nos. 2 to 8 (even) and No. 46 (The Beehive) Stert Street are recognized as a group.
