Description
No. 65 Stert Street is an early to mid 19th century building constructed from coursed rubble with red brick dressings. It stands two storeys high with attics and features two gables, each with a small casement window framed by a red brick rusticated architrave. The gables are adorned with carved bargeboards and the building has a tiled roof.
The front facade includes three windows: two are three-light double hung sash windows with glazing bars, and one is a single light window without glazing bars, all set within red brick rusticated architraves. On the ground floor, there are two three-light windows with wooden mullions, also in red brick rusticated architraves. The building has a rendered plinth and two doors; to the left is a six-panel door with a semi-circular glazed fanlight, and to the right is a four-panel door with a rectangular fanlight, both topped with a wooden hood supported by heavy carved brackets.
