Description

Lyford Bridge is a bridge dating from 1837, as inscribed on the keystone. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and rubble coping. The bridge features a central round arch, which is flanked by small round-arched openings. There are two cutwaters that face upstream at the rear.
