Description

The Chestnuts is a 17th-century building located on the south side of Shrivenhall High Street. It is constructed of colourwashed rubble stone with brick dressings and features a gabled stone tiled roof. The west side wall has a stone stack with set offs and a brick cap. The north front has two storeys and three bays, with eight-pane sash windows in the upper section. The right-hand ground floor window also has a similar sash, while the central bay features a polygonal glazed bow. To the left, there is a panelled and glazed door.
