Description

The building at 31 and 33 Bath Street dates to the late 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed of chequered brick with a stucco cornice and parapet. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical façade with four windows. The upper windows have segmental arches and are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor features two arched recesses, each containing a three-light window with glazing bars. Number 31 has a six-panel door with a glazed, rectangular fanlight, flanked by two narrow sash windows set on wooden bases. A flat hood supported by console brackets is above the door. Number 33 features a six-panel double door within a wooden architrave, incorporating a glazed, semi-circular fanlight.
