Description
This is a house located in Castle Acre, dating from the 17th century with later alterations. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble and has a stone slate roof, featuring a brick ridge stack positioned to the right of the center. The layout is likely a two-unit lobby-entry plan with a cross-wing on the left side. The building is two stories high and has a two-window range with the cross-wing to the left. There is a 20th-century door situated to the right of the center, which is accompanied by a 20th-century open porch. The windows display irregular arrangements of 20th-century casements, and there are two raking dormers also fitted with 20th-century casements. The left return and the rear of the house show timber-framing with rendered infill. The interior has not been inspected.
