Description

This chest tomb, dated 1725, is located approximately 20 metres south of the transept of the Church of St. James in West Hanney. It is made of stone and has a rectangular shape. The tomb features a cyma-recta moulded plinth and plain central panels on each side and end. The corners are adorned with baluster mouldings, and the plain top slab has a shaped edge. An inscription can be found on the south-facing panel.
