Description
A mill, dating from around 1800. The mill is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble with a half-hipped roof covered in stone slates. It is two storeys high, with a two-window front. Timber lintels are above all openings. There’s a C20 casement window above C20 stable doors. A small door with a brick surround is to the left. C20 double doors are in the right gable wall. A one-storey range adjoins the left side, built of limestone rubble; it has a gabled roof of old tiles. The front of this range is brick and features a single bay with a C20 stable door. The interior contains original machinery. The mill was described as "newly built" in 1808.
