Description
The statue of Doctor Fell, located approximately 130 meters northeast of the Church of All Saints, is a garden statue dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is made of painted limestone and depicts a full-length standing figure of Dr. Fell. The statue stands on a square base that has a stone front panel featuring a Latin inscription. This statue is an important feature within the landscaped park of Nuneham Park, which is recognized in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission County Register of Gardens at Grade I.
