Description
The Congregational Church Hall, built in 1903 and designed by architect Hampden Pratt, is located on Reading Road. This building is in the Gothic style, though it is simpler than the adjoining Congregational Church. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings. A notable feature is a five-light window that faces the street, and there is a Tudor door located in a crenellated side porch on the north side. The hall, along with the Congregational Church Manse and its garden wall, forms a group with the properties numbered 29 to 47 (odd) opposite, as well as the Church, Church Hall, and the gates and railings of the churchyard wall.
