Two dwellings. C17, remodelled in early C18 and right wing added in mid C18. Originally timber-framed left range: knapped flint rubble with brick dressings; gabled thatch roof; brick ridge stack. L-plan with front right wing. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Segmental brick arch over plank door and gauged brick flat arches over double-leaf 6-panelled door. 2-light horizontal sliding sashes; similar first-floor casements; chequer brick storey band. Gable wall of right wing has segmental brick arches over attic light and 3-light leaded casements, and mid C19 canted bay window. Interior: C17 left range (Manor Lodge) built as 2-unit lobby-entry house with full set of chamfered and stopped beam and joists to right. First floor and Hampden Cottage not inspected but likely to be of interest.
