Description

The Three Tuns Public House is an 18th-century building with a 19th-century painted stucco ground floor. It is situated on the south side of the Market Place. The building is constructed of silver-grey brick with red brick quoins and window dressings. The roof is slate, with flat, bracketed eaves. The façade has three storeys and three windows, which are sash windows. The upper floor windows have glazing bars. The ground floor has been altered. The building forms part of a group of properties including the Town Hall and numbers 10, 20 to 36 (even), and a barn at the rear of numbers 32 to 34 (even) on the opposite side of the Market Place.
