Description

The well head, located approximately 5 meters northwest of Nuneham House, is likely from the early 19th century. It is made of wrought iron and limestone. The well features a two-step stone rim, a scrolled wrought-iron surround, and an elaborate overthrow. This structure serves as the eastern focal point of the northern terrace of Nuneham House. It is included for its group value. Nuneham Park is also recognized in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission County Register of Gardens at Grade I.
