Description

Cherry Court is a house dating from the late 17th century, with later 19th and 20th-century additions to the rear. The lower part of the house is rendered, while the upper part is roughcast, likely on a timber frame, with an old plain-tile roof and a brick stack to the rear. Originally a two-unit plan, it is a single-storey building with an attic, originally featuring a two-window front. A 20th-century entrance has been added to the left return, and the ground floor originally had two-light leaded casement windows. The roof is punctuated by two cross-gables, featuring tile hanging and two-light casement windows. The interior is noted for its extensive beaming.
