Description
The building is a stable located approximately 20 meters southwest of Mapledurham House, dating from the 18th century, with a front that was added in the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick with grey headers and has a plain tile roof. The stable is two storeys high and features a four-window range. There are four double panelled coach doors at the center, a plank door to the left of center with a Diocletian overlight and a rubbed brick arch, and a four-panel door to the right of center also with a Diocletian overlight and a rubbed brick arch. Diocletian windows are present to the left and right. On the first floor, there are four 8-pane sash windows. The building has stepped cross-gables on the left and right sides. Inside, there are horse stalls located at the rear.
