Description

No. 10 High Street is a four-storey building with a painted brick front and painted rusticated quoins, concealing the remains of an ancient house behind it. On the west side, there is an 18th-century entrance to the market, featuring an archway with pilastered jambs. The building includes a modern three-light Venetian-style wood-framed window topped with a pediment. The third floor has four sash windows and is crowned by a modern moulded parapet. The roof is not visible. This building is part of a group of listed structures on the north side of High Street.
