Description

No 16 on High Street is a house and shop built around 1773. It is similar in style to Nos 12-15. The building is three stories tall, constructed from ashlar stone, and features a moulded parapet. The roof is covered with Welsh slate and includes two modern dormers. On the first floor, there are three sash windows along with a three-light stone-framed window that has a pediment above it. The entrance archway, which leads to the market, has a stone balustraded head. The shopfront was updated in 1963. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the north side of the street.
